Ian Hamilton Finlay – Gods of the Earth, Gods of the Sea, Rousay, Orkney

Arranged for the collection of a 15 tonne Portland Stone sculpture from Cornwall, transportation to Orkney and temporary storage. Development of a methodology for its transport to Rousay (once home to the artist), the creation of access roads and foundation substrate for the placement of the work, charter ferry for transport of lifting plant and the work itself. Final installation completed with Ian Hamilton Finlay and Nicholas Sloan on site.
