At Kelsen, we realise conservation projects, art installations and architectural construction with efficiency and sensitivity. We seek out projects that are unique in their nature, manner of making, design, concept, location and complexity.
Kelsen in collaboration with Scott Associates Sculpture and Design fabricated and installed a large scale steel sculpture by Phillip King at Kistefos Museum in Norway.
We were commissioned via Pidgin Perfect by Scottish Book Trust to produce Emma Ewan’s first public art installation.
Developed and implemented method for installing a 500kg sculpture in Trinity Apse, Edinburgh, as part of Edinburgh Art Festival 2015.
As a result of Network Rail operating constraints within Waverely Station, Kelsen technicians hand made a homogenous, hexagonal shaped, concrete plinth to receive a Charles Avery bronze sculpture.
Phases 1 and 2 in refurbishment of the Aspire Church, in Rutherglen, Glasgow for the Health N Happy Community Development Trust to convert the church hall into multi use spaces including recording and broadcast studios for community radio.
Fabrication of two large scale plywood painted structures for installation at two separate locations: Portree on the Isle of Skye and Lochmaddy on North Uist.
Fabrication and installation of external decorative timber superstructure to the Half Price Ticket Hut along with partial internal fit out.
